I unfortunately will be unable to attend this year's festival.

My wife is defending her master's thesis (Chosen Icons in Science Fiction as part of a new exhibit at the EMP museum) in Museology on Friday here in Seattle. She couldn't believe the timing when she learned that the date of it would conflict with the festival and has apologized profusely ever since. She promises though that should there be a festival next year, we will definitely be going. I had so much fun last year meeting so many of you and we had some crazy, great times! Mike, I expect to see some fantastic videos from the iPad and I will be glued all weekend to the board for the latest updates on all of the happenings! Neil, I'm sorry that we will once again miss meeting each other in person but I'm sure one of these days it will happen! Oh, and if anyone ever finds their way here to the Pacific NW and wants to meet up, let me know.
And for those wondering, I pushed for her to see if they could include KITT's front bumper bursting through a wall with bricks flying out around it in the exhibit but it wasn't in their budget. However, as part of her research she did come across a transcript of an interview with Glen Larson in 2009 where he talked about the Knight Rider Festival and the show, so that was cool.
