Chris Kerr, the author of As Seen on TV wrote to us to give us an updat that his website chriskerr.co.uk is now active. There you can find out more about the book, it's author, and read a number of excerpts from it.

As Seen on TV is the story of Kirk Rush, a struggling screenwriter in LA, faced with a problem which no one else can help with - how to write The A-Team movie, hit the big time in Hollywood, and save his sister Denise who has gone AWOL from her kidney dialysis treatment in Miami. MISSION: Impossible.

As Seen on TV is a surreal satire of our TV-obsessed culture, shot through with catch phrases, programme titles, and Hollywood look-a-likes. It is dark and terrifically absurd, with echoes of Kurt Vonnegut and Thomas Pynchon.

It's currently available for £7.69 through Amazon.co.uk.
