I can't see how turbo boosts would work in that. Surely the landing would have to be completely vertical.
Not at all convinced by that story

I'm must not be feeling too well today. Because I can actually see KITT in that! Odd. Someone tell me what's happening to me?
Wonder what KARR would look like...

What kind of car is that, anyway? Not that I think it would make a good KITT, just curious.

That is a Koenigsegg CCX. It is a supercar made in Sweden. I found that same picture on Koenigsegg's web site. Someone just blacked out the wheels and put the scanner on the picture - nothing to get excited about as far as what KITT will be in the movie.
One man did make a difference.

I've realised a point in creating the new KITT for the movie.
The new car has to be a car that "everyone" wants to have. That is/was the whole thing with the good old Trans Am - atleast when it was introduced.
It just can't be "a cool car". It's got to be something that everybody adores and respects - and wants to drive - and talk to. Otherwise this movie is never going to work.
If there ever was a movie about a car - this is the one!. Simply put: nothing is as important in this movie but to make the car work. Hopefully they understand the value of the car. It's not like designing a new batmobile for Batman. It's more. The car is supposed to be the main character.
Anyone agree?

it´s fan art for sure... and i think that it wouldnt be the better idea for making a new KITT, i think like tony, we must think on that car that everyone will like to have...
i personally think that this wouldnt be a bad idea

...
its the new kitt that i would love to have on a movie (its only a pictrick of a 2002 TA made by myself)... but, we must be reallistics... that model its of 2002 and we dont have anymore more models of trans-ams (today)
here´s a collection of my pictricks if you would like to see

I thought that the first pic looked a lot like my neighbor's Mitsubishi Eclipse (which, btw, is named KITT

)

The Firebird/Trans Am has always shared body styles with the Camaro, so the fact that Chevy is moving ahead with a new 2009 Camaro means there might be hope for a new Trans Am as well.

You would think. But I've heard that they are NOT going to make a Trans Am ever again. Only the Camaro. Pontiac is going forward with more jellybeans instead.

Fuzzie is right, the GTO is the ONLY rear drive V8 powered coupe that pontiac is offering. But I HOPE they later on change their minds as the GTO will probably be a big $$$ item so GM needs a lower cost coupe so they SHOULD bring back the firebird/ta cars

Michael: "You know, your as much fun as a divorce, which is not a bad idea!"
KITT: "I want custody of ME!"

What they are perporting to be a GTO right now is NOT a GTO. It's a jellybean. Real GTOs never looked that bad.
