Hi, I have a 2005 Chevy Malibu Maxx, and I was wondering the dimensions of a scanner to put in the front of the car. If anyone could help me out, it would be appreciated!
Thanks!

you can get a variety of different scanners with different dimensions.
What i'd suggest is to get one of the cheap ones you can find on e-bay or most good motoring shops with dual bars, so you can use 1 or 2 bars depending on the size of your grille, and if it's too small you can make a seperate lens from red clear perspex

I have the same exact car except in silver. It's dark out and I can't take any pics so this should help.

yeah the cheap twin scanner should be perfect, and at least if not, you haven't wasted a fortune. you could mount one of the bars under each section of the grille
each bar is approximately 15mm in width

It looks cheap from the box but the LED output isn't bad, its about the same if not brighter than the second as when the bars are together there's 2 led's per square inch instead of one
The second one is a JC Whitney which i currently have in my replica and i doub't very much it would fit in your grille.I had the cheaper one in my last replica and there's not much difference. i made my own lens for both so they fit under the TA hood perfectly.
