well since it looks like KITT from JYD I am not surprised the hood fell off.

that happened to my first replica. well the hood didn't come off, but it flipped up and blocked my view and i had to pull over

A friend of mine had that happen to her car hood as well. Flipped up when she was driving, but didn't fall off. That can be a rather scary thing to happen. She was in traffic, too.
