Jump In My Car
Your favourite cult icon wants to take you home! That's right, the "Most Watched Star on Television" (according to the Guinness Book of Records), is back with a doozy of a track that is guaranteed to blow away his hofficial army of fans.

'Jump In My Car' is the hoff-the-wall version of the 1975 Aussie classic by the Ted Mulry Gang. Recorded and produced in Sydney by Harry Vanda (AC/DC, The Angels, Stevie Wright, John Paul Young, Rose Tattoo), the track also features a very special video which was shot on the streets of Glebe, Sydney.

David Hasselhoff launched his highly successful recording career in the late 1980s with his debut album 'Looking for Freedom'. The title single became an anthem for the German people and remained at the top of their charts for eight weeks before going triple platinum in Europe. Hasselhoff was named "Most Popular and Best Selling Artist of the Year" in Germany and sang 'Looking for Freedom' from atop the Berlin Wall during the German reunification celebration.

His concerts play to packed audiences throughout the world and all of his six other European albums have gone platinum and gold.

So don't stall - get in quick and rock with the Hoff!

I'd like to hear the song myself, and I don't think the song "Jump in My Car" played on the radio in America during the 1970s, did it?
In any case, I might consider getting the single via Amazon.com and hear how DH does in singing a song like that.....

Yes, it's true. Davids "Jump in my car" is a cover version of the classic Ted Mulry Gang song.
'Jump In My Car' was a number one hit in Australia for the Ted Mulry Gang in 1975.

Uh, Britta, I have a confession to make:
I had never heard of the band Ted Mulry gang themselves or the song "Jump in My Car", since I didn't live in Australia during the 1970s until something was mentioned about DH doing his own version of the song last year during his visit to Australia...
With that said, I hope to hear the said song sometime.

Great Song funny at the end when he presses the eject button and says "kitt get her our of here".
I know that KITT replica now I posted some pics back in a thread a while ago of when I sat in it and checked it out.
Notice how its RHD.

Now that I've seen the "Jump in My Car" video, I feel that it's one of the funniest DH music videos I've seen, and it was great seeing DH use the eject button when a woman got to be too much for him.
I also liked the odes to "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider", too.
Yes, the video had DH's intensity in it, too.....
Thanks, Nat! :)  8)
