Hey I find this in a Secret of NIMH site, I wanted to show this before the site goes down..

The Secret of NIMH is a series of children's books that were popular awhile back, and prolly still are today in elementary school. One of the animation companies made a movie of it back in the early 80s I believe.
Someone just cropped and edited in a scene of one of the characters into a scene of Michael and Kitt.
The Rescuers Down Under is a different movie made by Disney in the early 90s.
All in all, they involve rodents and other animals of small stature. And alotta early animation companies drew stuff very similar. Can only assume they tossed artists back and forth.
