I happened to notice something quite interesting while I was watching "Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Show Spectacular" on TV Land this afternoon. The final act ends with Michael taping Lawrence Blake via his comlink. The scene usually ends with a close up of Michael's face saying "we got ya on tape" - Freeze frame, commercial break. Well, TV Land doesn't take a commercial between act 4 and the Tag (the short amusing scene at the end of the episode). After Michael said "we got ya on tape", it did NOT freeze frame, but went back to a shot of Lawrence Blake looking upset that he got caught. It then went to the Tag. It makes me wonder what the various TV stations are given to work with - do they get the unedited version with possibly even some extra scenes that weren't ever televised? I wish I had gotten it on tape.

most of the telelvision stations that I have watched this show on either had the methods to hack the actual show it self or pre-redit because of the sponsors who paid for commercial spots!....I remember 20 yrs ago after the show went off air in 86' ,by 87' it had returned to sydication, but it was super hacked to hell and all the good stuff was gone or cut very short!...so there were many veriations of only just a handful that were hacked and I remember knight of the pheonix cutting nearly 30 minutes hacked off because the sponsors who pay to have there commercial shown were taking all the extra air time!....one tv station remember back about that time use to claim "3 commercial only" clause and instead they played 3 minutes worth and you really only about 30 or more minute s of knight rider and it was really sad to see and that killed the intrest in watching it when it got hacked!...I tried to record verious shows over the last two decades and noticed some were shorter than others and the commercials got longer too!...but tv land might be something different in itself and they don't seem to but cutting corners and thats a smart move to keep viewers plugged in to watch!
