It seems that we have to wait a bit longer for the official release of Season 3 in the UK-Region 2. :(

I just checked the Play.com website (http://www.play.com/).

The DVD will be possibly released on 22nd May! :?

the only plausible thing I can think of is they are making sure they don't end up with the same problem that region 1 DVD's have had with the sound effects issue.

So they have pushed the relase back to make sure.

That would sound about right, I guess a nice compensation would be to release Season 4 at the same date aswell maybe.....

I really dont see why it would take that long to convert them into PAL, the actual masters themselves are neither PAL or NTSC I dont think, also going on the 2 previous seasons triming out the teasers is just another time wasting task.

Yes.
This is possibly the main reason and explanation for this.

I really hope that they will do their best and make sure that there will be no problem with the sound effects.

Yeah, I don't mind waiting longer if I get better quality

I look forward to the day that the DVD will be finally released in the UK and Region 2.

Hopefully, it seems that Universal has seriously started to deal with the 'sound effects' problems.

It is certainly worthwhile to have the complete season 3 in a DVD, especially if there are no faults or other omissions in all the episodes.

I really hope that Universal will deal successfully with the problem, and finally, we will get the best possible DVD. Fingers crossed!!! :D

For now, we will probably have to wait until 22nd May, unless they change again the date of release. :)
