Since I read several posts on how people envision the Knight Rider movie, I wanted to give my suggestion as well (I would not claim royalty fees..etc if it was used)....
The movie starts with the premise that Michael never left FLAG and only recently Devon retired transferring control to Knight's daughter and her husband (bad guy ?!)...Michael in the meantime has been doing safety inspections (checking bank security...etc) and FLAG focusses more on giving legal advice as well as loans to people in need. This also means that KITT receives less maintenance and begins to feel old and useless (Michael and KITT's relationship could be much more personal at this point with KITT acting like an old man seeking care and attention, until they fix him back up and install some gadgets like in the old times). What is really happening is that FLAG is being used for traficking weapons and drugs and Devon is murdered when he discovers this...Michael would only get a message that he wants to see him but in the end he would find only a burning house/car...etc
From then on the old team is being assembled and we find out that April (now married with kid(s)) has been assigned back to the FLAG mainframe while Bonnie went back teaching...They all unite and solve the mystery...It would be nice to see them all at the end pay tribute to Devon's grave while in reality showing Edward Mulhare's...Kinda well deserved in my opinion since he was one of the people who made Knight Rider what it was...
As an additional twist we could see Adrienne back who didn't drown like Garth but discovered her past life was no good and while helping Michael she gets killed too..Bonnie and Michael could also finally get involved a bit more and Michael ultimately taking Devon's place...A lot more possibilities, but KITT must stay KITT and stuff must be Knight Rider real...
Nothing exciting or new but a solid concept I think that would fit nicely with the original series...What do you guys think ?
