It was a small wind-up toy of K.I.T.T. that had monster truck wheels. The Rough Riders toy line's theme was that each of their cars had monster truck wheels.Josch Schulz wrote:What is the 4 X 4 K.I.T.T ?
Are you going to share what you've been smoking with the rest of us?!CNH 320 wrote:Didn't you guys never heard of this car?![]()
This car was designed to be in the last Knight Rider episode. It was build by the Knight Rider and DoH crew. Mike Sheffe, George Barris (yes!), Tom Sarmento, Rich Septon and A.J. Trasher.
For budget reasons and being not the right car for the plot afterall, the crew decided to drop the idea. Hence, why the stock Firebird nose is still on the car. It was bought after that by one of the stunt guys. I believe it was Bobby Ore. He later sold it to a car collector. After that, we lost track, and now, we see it agian in terible shape
