That's kind of messed up.

Looks like there was a redneck with WAY too much time on his hands.

Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

Yeee ha. That reminds me of the Rough Riders 4 X 4 K.I.T.T. toy from the '80s.

It would have been better, If they had gone all out and put the Nose, Dashboard and Light bar on it.
Though it looks like what would have happenend, If Garthe fused KARR and Goliath Togther?.

That is just plain AWFUL!
Makes me wish I had the money to buy it and restore it to it's original health, just to save the poor car!

LOL! It looks like someone read my old "Team Renegade Knight Rider" fan fic series and decided to make their own "Off-Road Mode KITT". J/K
Seriously... That is something interesting.

It was a small wind-up toy of K.I.T.T. that had monster truck wheels. The Rough Riders toy line's theme was that each of their cars had monster truck wheels.

Didn't you guys never heard of this car?
This car was designed to be in the last Knight Rider episode. It was build by the Knight Rider and DoH crew. Mike Sheffe, George Barris (yes!), Tom Sarmento, Rich Septon and A.J. Trasher.
For budget reasons and being not the right car for the plot afterall, the crew decided to drop the idea. Hence, why the stock Firebird nose is still on the car. It was bought after that by one of the stunt guys. I believe it was Bobby Ore. He later sold it to a car collector. After that, we lost track, and now, we see it agian in terible shape

that is crazy! KITT is bad enough (in a good way) he doesn't need any big wheels to make him badder!
