Someone (they aren't sure yet who) has won the yearly DARPA Autonomous Vehicle Challenge! Actually a few of them actually crossed the finish line, where last year they all failed within sight of the starting line.

This is cool... they think we'll have self-driving vehicles pretty soon! Heck with all that the automotive companies are doing with consumer cars these days, I wouldn't be surprised either!
