I recently ordered a pair of 1:18 scale die cast cars of KITT and I was very impressed with the craftsmanship work, especially the working scanner light. The only thing missing was the scanner probing sound and KITTs voice. Now I am anticipating a release of a 1:18 scale diecast KARR and a Goliath semi truck, which I hope doesn't take a year to make.
Actually, you could say the 1:18 scale die cast KARR exists, that is if you can ignore the name KITT on the box cover, for KARR had the same red scanner light as KITT in episode, "Trust doesn't Rust", which mysteriously becomes yellow when KARR is rediscovered in the episode "Kitt vs KARR".

I don't need no "Wizard Of Oz Car" putting me behind the 8 ball, for nothing. LOL (The Rev)
All they did was blow away a "Ringmaster", they didn't even steal any hamburgers. LOL (Michael)

There's already a 1:18 scale KARR from Aoshima. It's available in ebay in a bit of a high price but hey, its worth it since its not available in any store.
ERTL has plans on making this same KARR later this year. But Goliath? I doubt it since at 1:18 scale, it won't fit in any ordinary sized ERTL box. We can all dream though...![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

I also hope to see a 1:18 scale diecast of KIFT, Knight Industries Four Thousand and Michael Knights 1957 Blue Chevy, both with the red scanner light as seen in the Knight Rider 2000 tv movie.

I understand where you're coming from, for I had no choice but to purchase my diecast KITT models online, since Target and other model shops in my area didn't carry them. The upside of ordering online is that you save a few bucks and the item hasn't been played with. The downside is that it takes nearly a week to receive the package and it doesn't always turn out perfect.
