What ever happend to K.I.F.T.
I was wondering if anyone knew what happend to the K.I.F.T. after the filming of Knight Rider 2000. Was it sold, destroyed, put in a car show, and has any fan ever made a K.I.F.T. conversion car.

Kift ended up being painted black and white and turned into police cars for one of the power ranger shows. There are a couple of them now actually. but they are are sitting in a lot somewhere with blown engines. Just rotting away. One of the registries gang saw them a month or so ago in this condition.
If your interested, the mold used to create the 4000 is on ebay right now! Eric Nagy owns the mold and is currently selling it (again) don't ask, we dont know.

Neil and I must be on the same wavelength of minds because I took some screen caps and made a section on my website. The funny thing is, both he and I took some very similar shots (those must be the coolest shots from the promo, no?)
http://www.kr2k.com/kift.html is where you can find the goods.
And yes, this car belongs in black (with police lights even)

Hmmmmmmmmmm..............
If one of you don't mind, I'd like to "pilfer" one of those pics and see what I can do with it in Photoshop to make it a full black ride. I'm pretty sure someone has done it, but this way half of the work is already done for me!
Is it me, or does it look like someone just drove the car through adhesive yellow police tape? That yellow strip looks obnoxious!

They didn't get rid of the wheels. that isn't the same car used in knight rider 2000. A bunch of knock off's were made up for power rangers as police cars. You can tell because the interiors were different as well. They just used a few stealths and kept the stock wheels on it.
As for the Scare Tatics episode, it was neat. That guy beat the hell outta that car. The dumb kid crapped himself too. You could see glimpses of the scanner opening. No functioning scanner in it though.
I agree, I liked the look of the car being black too. Made a cool looking cop car. I didn't like how they had all the dash openings all cardboarded up though. Looked tacky.
