I have just contacted Universal Playback (UK) and asked about any future Video or Dvd releases for KR/Airwolf/A-Team & Equalizer.
I was told that there are some KR & Airwolf scheduled for release in NOV/DEC but he did not know what episodes they were going to be!!
There is not going to be any releases this month because they are still trying to get episodes cleared through copyright!!!!!
I will contact them again in AUGUST when he said he should have some more news for me.
Until then....

How can the DVDs be very good quality, isn't broadcast quality about all they had back then?

Although I know someone can answer this one better than me, he's my .02. There is no such thing as "broadcast quality." I mean, what does it mean, how you recieve a broadcast through an antenna, or cable, has been degraded. It's duped from Universal, the Channel broadcasts it over their cable, goes through your provider and into your home, which then you possibly record onto your crappy VCR. (not saying your VCR is crappy, just the technology is)
So thats 5 generations removed from the original tape. If the original tapes are stored properly, DVDs are only a generation from the originals creating a level of quality that you don't get easily from your standard "broadcast"
The quality is in the media they filmed with, it's the technology that brings it to you that makes it look as good or worse then the original.

Neil is right, what you see on a traditional broadcast is a signal transmitted to your television (either from an atennae, cable or digital or satellite signal), its not by any means a master.
When a series is produced, the studio (in this case Universal) keeps a master set of that series as it aired. If someone like Columbia House buys the rights, they buy the rights to a 2nd generation set so they can master it onto VHS or DVD. Thats why things look so much sharper and sound so much clearer then an airing on television because its been mastered or transferred from a higher quality source.
I Love Lucy aired in the 1950's but on DVD has been transferred over and looks and sounds better then it ever did in that era.

And adding my pet peeve... the phrase "DVD quality" is also meaningless.
Today, if you have a decent VCR and a good cable company, I'd consider an off-the-air VHS recording as 2nd generation, maybe 2.5. That wasn't as true 20 years ago, but we engineers have become pretty good and not making the broadcast be the weak link.
