Any news on the netflix show?

I've been following David's twitter feed and I know he just did a few concerts with his new song Heroes but I haven't heard any news past the "We're at 75% of the planning stage" Either David is great at multi-tasking or i'm afraid the show has been canned.

I know it takes a while to get the to production stage but with all the other projects the guy from Guardians of the Galaxy has or is chasing, knight rider may not be a priority for him anymore.

A Knight Rider netflix show?? Damn I didn't hear about this.

It probably won't be too good anyway, tbh. But I'd like more details on this.

There were a few German sites that provided some more details. Like David saying he wanted to have kitt reactivated in a warehouse where they first reunite. He suggested they wanted it to be dark then they suggested it and he was like "That's a good idea" LOL. It was going to be headed up by the guy who directed or produced Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The famous Marilyn Manson was interested in being a villain for the show.

Yeah as think if there is one, maybe David would take on the Devon role. And I can picture him grooming a younger driver.
