Knight Rider mentioned on Lethal Weapon Series last night

Knight Rider was mentioned on fox's Lethal Weapon series last night. That makes 2 shows on the same network, in 2 night's in a row. Riggs was interrogating one of the 2 theifs that were apprehended. Murtaugh was hanging off the roof of a self driving car. Murtaugh asks him "Are we dealing with a knight rider situation here?" The theif replies perplexed "I'm not sure what a knight rider is." Riggs says " You don't know who Kitt is?" Murtaugh says "Hasselhoff?" The theif asks "Do they work here?"

I was rolling with laughter and had to re-watch that part a few times. Too funny!!!

Although this was a tv show, self-driving vehicles will make people think Knight Rider in real life too, at least older people. lol

Interesting. Lethal Weapon and Knight Rider are both products of action '80s. Plus, self driving cars don't have a lot of references to draw from. Still nice for some nostalgia references.

Pleasantly surprised to hear references in Lethal Weapon and Lucifer. Made me smile when I heard them watching the shows
