I haven't visited this site in a long time, so pardon me if I've missed the obvious. In recent months I learned that Art Asylum has prototyped a roughly 1:18-scale KITT with Michael Knight figure and the ability to transform between Cruise Mode and SPM. Sometime afterward I learned that Hot Wheels will release an "elite' 1:18 KITT.
Are both of these really in the works? It seems that they'd be competing products. I'm more interested in the Art Asylum offering, since as a kid I'd wanted Kenner (already making transforming M.A.S.K. toys) to update their Voice Car toy with the ability to switch to SPM.
Two 1:18 KITTs? Hot Wheels and Art Asylum?

found a pic of a colored 'prototype' with the mini Michael figure, enjoy
I am looking forward to this, they are also doing mini mate KR toys too a Kitt, a Karr, and a SPM version but from what I seen of the Kitt and Karr they all have the areas where the SPM stuff pops out (a Karr with a SPM mode, cool !) more info can be found here:
