Thanks!
Unfortunately I don't think this item will be for sale for liabilty reasons.
3 diffrent wavelength, infrared lasers, scan each guage onto a rotating mirror that projects onto a clear holographic treated lamintate that 'catches' the image on the clear film using a 3 color wavelength sensitive process similar to making holographic plates for darkroom processing. (Like a silver emulsion process but with microscopic nano sized geometric shapes (bucky balls) instead of a silver grain gelatin emulsion.)roDa wrote:Just watched it, it's awesome! How does it work?
These are screened on using a type of retrofitted printer.
This film is then applied to the windsheld the same way window tint would.
The result is a clear viewable windsheld with properites of an opaque white projection screen that makes the image bright and clear and the lasers create infinite contrast becuase the blacks are truly black becuase it shuts off the laser on the non lit areas of the display.

That sucks. The laser HUD is exciting! Are you still planning on building the holo gauges? I was reading about them on Champion Mustang and it sounds like you retain the stock gauges too. I can't wait to see those as well.

Hmm infrared... Smart thing! Is the film applied to the whole windshield or just the part you need?taoworm2323 wrote:Pierre wrote:outstanding really impressive. Any, idea of the price of this baby? I mean the future version.

Wow, video screens! I didn't know it was possible to do something THAT complex with a scanning laser...

Pretty cool huh?roDa wrote:Wow, video screens! I didn't know it was possible to do something THAT complex with a scanning laser...
A total of 9 lasers scan the windshield and display pertinent data across the whole of it.
The 9 lasers are capable of displaying HD video as well.
