The video says you spent over $4k. Was that the going cost or was this a special item? What kind of Mustang have you got? Mine's a 2005 GT in Screaming Yellow. I'm in the process of putting on GT500KR wheels, Trufiber Venom hood, and a GT500 fascia kit. The end effect should be KI3T in Screaming Yellow, which I like because Shelby hasn't built an S197 Mustang in that color as far as I know. I want to put yellow scanners up front, but I love the look of the new model.

$4000.00
that is absolutely insane! but i have to say im happy for you and your passion...
but how did you justify the 4000? if not to yourself, to your girlfriend? i would have to answer to so many people.
i am definitely saying congratulations though

LOL! My girlfriend understands my passion. I am a VERY lucky guy like that.
The price was around $4200 and WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I don't know, man. $4200 is a little steep. I'm already dropping $5000+ in it this year. I may have to stick with my Night Raider for now. I've got one mounted on my black 2008 F-150 now (off-road mode, baby!) and it looks awesome, especially at night just sitting in the driveway. Nothing more dangerous than a sci-fi geek with money and a lack of shame!

Wow! I wish I had that kind of money to spend! I spent $63.99 with the $9 shipping on my TOS scanner (a replica, not the actual one used). I posted pictures to the before pictures in the KITT Scanner thread, if anyone wants to see them. I'll be posting after pictures as soon as it's installed on Tuesday! I haven't seen my scanner in action yet, but it looks very well made, so if it runs anything like it looks, it's going to be very nice!
That is just so awesome for you, Taoworm! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Just curious as to how you found it on their website. I have had no luck whatsoever.
KITT: Michael, your blood alcohol level is far too high to allow you to take the wheel.
MIKE: That’s fine. I don’t wanna drive anyway. I want a burger. Take me to a drive-thru.

They did not have it for sale on his website. I had been talking to him about buying the one from the pilot movie for a couple of months now. I was trying to keep it a surprise until I finished my voice orb. Now my KI3T is about as real as it gets. Now I need the hood and other parts ready.

Wow. I e-mailed Auto Indulgence several months ago and they layed that price on me. I think it's way too much, and have turned elsewhere for my scanner (it should arrive in a few days). Congrads to you though, if you've got the money. They told me that $4200 was for the scanner and hood though, I guess I was mistaken.
I'm going for the actual performance side for my KI3T replica, though, and started with a Roush GT.
KNIGHT RIDER RELOADED is a series of movies on Youtube to represent a different creative avenue to the Knight Rider we knew in 2008-09.

All I want to do is to find a scanner that looks similar to that but is somewhat shorter in width so that I can put it into the grill on my Ranger. Ford FTW!
