I just finally watched the 3rd ep this morning as they posted it online.

Man, I'm never listening to the majority of you guys again!!!! This was a great episode! All you nitpickers fooled me...damn you!!

I'm never listening to you guys again. All the bitches who complain about "the Ford placement", and "the green screen", "the attack mode vehicle" or "the extreme sexual insinuations." I'm OFFICIALLY off that bandwagon after watching Knight Of The Iguana. This show IS KNIGHT RIDER, and I'm proud of the people who made it.

It will get the support if everyone on here would just watch the show for what it is and not what it was. It's hard, believe me, I know. But you guys need to pretend you can not calculate the factor of TOS into this program. It stands on it's own, sorry, but that is just the way it is. And if you don't like it, YOU DON'T LIKE IT! I posted a thread last night before viewing the show on Wednesday...it was about the green screen Then, watching it on NBC Rewind this morning, I found myself not really giving a damn. The show was good enough to just enjoy. I wasn't comparing notes from TOS on anything, because it truly entertained me.

You should all ask yourself if this show is entertaining to you. I understand if it gets canceled, because there are a lot of people who simply don't like it. It's too campy, it's not one man anymore, KITT is 65% CG..whatever. I'm pleading to all you KR fans to FORGET TOS while watching this show. It's just going to make you angry.

This show is suppose to be a continuation of TOS but where suppose to forget TOS ever happined?

WTH? Thats just stupid!

What needs to happen is the producers need to wake the hell up and realize that this is a 26 year old show with 26 years worth of heritage and fan support to it, and if this new show is going to work, they need to start respecting that heritage and stop just throwing ideas together and telling the fans to not take it so seriously!

I probably should point out, that I do actually think this new KR has huge potential, but they need to fix some stuff.

And I get a little annoyed at people's saying to stop complaining. We're already hearing reports of non-fans laughing at the bad CGI effects, that says very clearly that the shows nto up to the standard it should (and damn well deserves) to be.

I complain because as a fan I can see problems, that fact that other non-fans are making the same kinds of comments as the fans verifies our concerns.

Hey! I thought you were going to bed. Oh wait, so was I! Whoops.

I think it would certainly help if more on the effects side if more practical effects were used instead of relying so heavily on CGI. Over 200 VFX (and more) shots in a single episode with how little time the VFX teams have is just crazy. At least in the second episode they didn't CG the truck going over the cliff and exploding, they need to do more "real" where they can, hopefully if they'll get a boost in the budget and it'll happen.

On the creative end hopefully the writers will get into a groove and things will get smoothed out, KITT needs to stop having to be told to do something that he should be doing on his own and quick, this learning thing doesn't seem to be working how I expected it to and how it was indicated from the first episode and even the second one, the lack of continuity might be a cause of at least some issues I'm having. I think some better direction couldn't hurt either. I liked the last EP more than the first episode but there's just still somethings off about all three episodes. I'd elaborate more but right now I'm too damn tired.
