I really found this article interesting that seems to have slipped under the radar on KRO (as far as I know?) and in many ways quite flattering to him. I thought I'd share it with the community. Credit goes to BoMcD for the original discovery.

Interesting!

I actually liked the original BSG better, especially the Cylons in the original BSG. The CGI ones were ok, but I liked the originals better.

As for not getting in trouble for a 'made-up' word, all words of all languages are made up to begin with or we wouldn't have any languages! Someone somewhere had to have made up the first word(s)!

Words evolve and change. Even meanings over time.

And one in awhile someone comes up with something and it's good but won't catch on until people start using it. That's the way with many of the words that get put into dictionaries. I am not sure but don't dictionaries have some kind of qualification system where words have to be in popular use before they get listed? And then they become part of the language 'officially' of sorts.

Linguistics is pretty interesting stuff. :)
