Hoff cards at Target

Post by KFCreator » Sun Aug 03, 2008 3:30 pm

I was just in Target earlier today with my fiancee and I was shocked to see that they now carry a line of David Hasselhoff-themed cards which, apparently, are Target exclusives. I couldn't resist getting one for my best friend's upcoming birthday and my fiancee couldn't resist getting me one that says "I had to trade in my old car. It ran great, but it wouldn't shut up!" that she's saving until my birthday next July (yeah, sucks that my birthday was only 2 weeks ago and now I have to wait a whole 'nother year). As an afterthought, I realized I should have snapped a few photos on my iPhone but luckily I found that someone has already posted a photo set on Flickr of them. Here's the link, and be sure to go check them out at your local Target store!

Has anyone seen them make an appearance on UK shelves anywhere?

Stylez - No, unfortunately I haven't had a chance to talk with David for a while now. I did just send him a wedding invitation though so we'll see if I get a call or response from him about that and if we actually get a chance for a conversation, we'll see what that might reveal as far as any possible news. It would be awesome if he could make it our wedding in September but I doubt it will happen with his usually busy schedule. However, he still has family in Baltimore which isn't far from here at all so who knows, maybe he'd take the time out for a short weekend visit to attend and also visit his family.

I thought the card that says "Best Wishes for a Happy Birthday to My Best Friend!" was perfect for my best bud Nick, who has always been a little bit jealous that I got to meet David all those years ago and he didn't. Hopefully this will make him laugh when he sees this card!
