Anyone know why the new series has Kitt's license as KR

Post by Knight Racer » Fri Aug 01, 2008 10:09 pm

If Michael Traceur new name will be Michael Knight, why is kitt's newlicense KR and not Knight?I don't own a vehicle (dodges soda cups and food thrown at me) but can a retired dismantled vehicle's license be applied to another car?Or is this some proof that our original kitt exists somehow?

If I remember correctly from Comic Con, GST stated that it stood for Knight Research of which KI3T is a project of, Knight Research and Development or something to that effect.

It's also not a license plate since it looked like it was paper, I'm assuming they'll be using the morphing on the plate again so it changes when needed.. There wouldn't be any problems with transferring it since technically the plate either belongs to Knight Industries or Michael Knight and in turn would be transferable to the new car, either because the car also belong to Michael Knight or the simple reason of his being his son.

Not to mention they connections they have, I'm sure they could manage to use it.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

Eh...if Traceur is now assuming the alias/identity of Michael Knight, make the plate reflect his apparent last name and simply say "KNIGHT" just like the original series. "KR" will be mistaken for Knight Rider by most people, anyway.

Agreed. I do believe that the original KITT is still active and very much alive.
