David has rights to tell his opinion about the movie, positive or negative. As well as other people. What's wrong with it? (I mean the things he really said). He was strething the truth when supported the movie... But I think he truly thought the film would be developed in the right direction. He really wanted to give it a chance. That's why he told positive things. Althought the whole thing about "Hasselhoff against KR" is overreacted in the press.
But still DH could be a little bit more positive. If he was I think a lot more of us fans would rally around him and demand NBC include him.
Huh? Where have you being when he WAS positive and asked fans to support him??? Now he is out of the movie. It's too late to demand something. Although it would not help anyway, I think.
It was obviously from the beginning that the producers wanted to make the movie in their very own direction. And they needed brand "Knight Rider" and David and all the words about being true to the original series just to get big audience.
Imagine if some famous actor was saying that about KR when it premiered in 82.
It's not illegal, nevertheless. If nobody told bad things about KR in 82, it was because the show was relly good. IMHO the new movie is balderdash.
And, guys, I would not support David so much in this issue (except the point that he has rights for his own opinion, I may agree with or disagree with; that's just the matter of respecting other people), if I really think the movie is good or it is going to be better. The point is, that I really agree with David. I think it would be better to make it in absolutely another direction. OR make a movie, which is not connected with the original series.
