CNN and Variety are reporting that a deal has been agreed upon with the WGA. Now only the writers themselves need to approve it. If they do, the could be back to work by Monday.
http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/TV/02/0 ... index.html
If members of the Writers Guild of America react favorably to the proposed deal, the guild's board could vote Sunday to lift the strike order and the industry could be up and running Monday. This month's Oscars ceremony, which has been under the cloud of a union and actors boycott, also would be a winner.
This would be huge for the NBC project if true. I would think Justin would be able to get on Leno to promote this week - and it would help the potential series go forward if it comes to pass.

Yes baby! Finally!
Among the ratings and the audience's reaction to the pilot the writer's strike was one of the biggest obstacles for the pilot to become a series. My guess is, the ratings and the reaction's won't be a problem so I'm more than optmistic.
Aaaaand the work on Battlestar Galactica can be resumed, woohoo!

Yeah, about a week ago things were looking to finally come together, hopefully the deal is approved and things can get rolling.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

I still doubt this will make it to a series until next season, probably September, but you never know.

Well, yeah... That was always what was going to happen if this is successful.

It is good news that they are finally getting close to an agreement. But, tv, in general, before the writers' strike wasn't that fantastic. I'm on satellite and have 200 channels and I still can't find hardly anything on tv I like anymore. To me there just isn't really good tv programming. And I do hope that the new KR series is able to step up to the plate and deliver. Because, at least, there might be something on worth watching.
