New Scanner
A lot of comments (mostly negative) have been made about the scanner, or the lack of scanner, or whatever. I have a little story to relate about that. When the design team came back to the producers with the original concept for the scanner, if was the traditional 8-segment led light bar. The producers told them "That's not going to cut it, go do it better." What they came back with, I'm not going to say here. But suffice to say it's much more imaginative and way cooler, and you haven't seen it yet.

If you look closely on the video at the end when Attack KITT comes out you can see a glance of the scanner, just look closely.

I agree, but according to Shapeshifter, the producers have come up with something "much more imaginitive," and I'm taking that to mean it's simply not just a flashing red light(s). If it's not the same oscillating scanner lighting left to right, maybe I can accept a different approach to the placement on the car. It just depends on how it's going to work in the show, which we have yet to see.MJknight wrote:I still think the scanner would have been best placed behind the grill like it was for the original KITT. The scanner being on the hood just doesn't look right.
