Knight rider season 3 Dvd region 2 (UK) ???

Hi,

i have the first 2 seasons, and i would like to buy season 3 and season 4. (region 2 , uk).
I have waited a long time, because of the sounds missing in the season 3 boxset, and i would like to know if something has been done to fix these problems, or if the dvd set that i'm about to buy, will still have all these issues?

I too waited long time because of that reason but gave up and ordered S3 and S4 in August this year. The season3 box I got still have missing sound effects and I don't think anything has been done to fix them in the last few months since I received mine.
Season 4 doesn't have any problems with soundeffects.

Can anyone clarify (8 months after the last post) if anything has been done to fix the missing sound effects on the Region 2 DVD of Series 3? Also, is it definitely safe to get Series 4 as well?

I doubt anything has been done for the Region 2 DVD sets, but you can always pick up a region-free DVD player and try to get a revised Region 1 set. Might cost you a bit, but if it bothers you that much it seems to be the only option.

Actually there's some new hope for Region2 DVD:s, the Scandinavian version of the 3rd season DVD:s will be released at the end of this month. It took almost 3 years after the 2nd season to release Scandinavian version of the 3rd season so maybe it took this time to fix the sound effects too?
