Saw where you said you were having trouble with flesh tones.
Painter's secret:
Flesh tones = orange, red and white in your mixing cup if you're using oils or acrylics. Some watercolor sets include a flesh-toned tube already mixed for you, but it's more or less the same rule for them too.
For a little more brown, add a complimentary color, like blue or green, but go light!
