I hope they can fix the problems from the eertl kitt like the grappling hook should be harder to break, the ejector seat should be up not forward and a scanner that doesnt stop in the middle of a scan then go on again in the other direction,oh and I know all of us are having problems with our t tops.Well most of us.Karr never used a grappling hook so maybe thats not needed on the model.
for some reason i see this car to be nothing more than the KITT they made with a silver bottom and possibly a yellow scanner. the thing that puzzels me is that they really don't have to do do to much more to make a KARR(paint, leds and a box) from the existing KITT, yet it is going to take 7 months (if we're lucky) to release KARR.
True, but as discussed in the KITT thread, let's be grateful that this is being released at all. After all, this is approx a 20 year old TV series that only ran 4 seasons. We should all be very happy

Great, I definetely going to buy KARR too.
Yes it's strange that releasing ERTL KARR takes 7 months when Aoshima released both KITT and KARR at the same time.

True, but keep this in mind.
Ertl has to plan & prepare to have sufficient stock & a suitable product for a worldwide market. Although Aoshima had a KARR right off the bat, they obviously didn't plan very well as they were sold out well before KARR was even released.

To whom it may concern.
It has recently been brought to my attention that as a follow-up to Ertl's release of the Knight Rider Trans Am (KITT) in late 2004, the KARR model is to follow in July 2005. Can this be confirmed?
Not everything can be sticky or there would be no room for other posts. When more comes out, we'll do just that. But right now the other model thread is quite successful and has discussions on all 4 of the models.
There is no picture of the upcoming ERTL KARR yet. But check out the discussions on this thread above: Sticky: 1/18 Die Cast KITT Coming In December...There are pictures there of the ERTL KITT and Aoshima KARR. Just check out the last 10 pages.
