from TVShowsonDvd.com:
Knight Rider - Menu Shots Now Available To Preview
Posted by David Lambert
5/31/2004
It's just a couple of months before the August 3rd release of Knight Rider - Season 1, and more and more details are starting to leak out. We had the list of extras for you recently, and not long before that we first showed off the the cover art, which Universal is referring to as "collectible foil packaging".
Now Universal has provided a couple of screen shots for the menus. The main menu is at the top, and down below you'll find the menu for the extras:
We'll let you know if we find out anything else, so stay tuned.

Disc One Side A:
(can't tell - guessing its the commentary)
Disc Three Side B
Knight Moves
Knight Sounds
Disc Foud
Knight Rider 2000 (Feature?)
Knight Rider Under
The Hood
Photo Gallery
Blueprints gallery?
KITT Owners Manual?

Yup, I agree, they are what you say above.
Disc one states:
'Knight Of The Phoenix' Commentary with David Hasselhoff and Writer/Creator Glen Larson
Looking nice so far. I'm guessing its animated like previous DVD releases?

The menu screen featuring KITT jumping is awesome! I wish that whoever made the KITT image on the box would be paid a few extra bucks to fix the hood... but beggars can't be choosers.

knightman- when they are released for your region (region 4 I believe?) you should have no trouble playing them on the ps2 or xbox. Without a modification to your game systems, you wont be able to play the Region 1 discs set for release in August.

The menus look incredible. I can only hope that if and when the box sets get to the UK, that the menu art and the special features are the same as those shown above, as they have clearly taken considerable time in trying to make them appealing, which the box is somewhat lacking in my opinion.
By the way, is that shot of Kitt turbo boosting through the wooden fence on the back of that trailor from Whilte Bird, as i believe it is?
Form Matthew
Welcome aboard the Knight 2000.
Thank you. What's all this, it looks like Darth Vader's bathroom?

For the PS2, you need a boot up cd rom that you must put in first to play other region titles. I used to have this disk.
It lets you select the region that you want to play and then you just put in the title you want and then the program starts.

You can also play other region dvds on the ps2 w/ the action replay cheat device that is like the game shark becuase Ive seen it before on some stores but I think you need a tv thats in a different format but Im not sure.

The images look great, although they suggest static menus.

Not necessarily, there could be simply the end frames of the motion. For instance it could be a clip of that episode with KITT turbo boosting ending with the above result...?

I also thought that they might be static. But we'll see. If the motion ended where KITT is just in mid air from turbo boosting, don't you think it would be a bit of an odd way to end it?

This is great, much better than I could have ever hoped for.
Not only we are we getting a whole season, not just a mish mash of random episode's, but they are making a great effot with it too.
