Yea, I can believe it. But I wouldn't waste my money on it. These are homemade DVDs from NBC tapes which are 20 years old and probably numerous generations by now. The quality isn't going to be worth the 50 bucks, especially if it is just season 3.
So your willing to spend 200 dollars for some home made DVDs of a questionable quality? I believe the guy on eBay doing this, but I don't believe you would pay for such a thing.
i never said i was going to buy them.i don't even have 200 bucks.maybe just one season. but not the all the season. at least you would have all the episodes and you would never miss knight rider. at least it's something.
Still 86chvs10, I don't think 50 dollars is worth it for a questionable quality season. Maybe if it was 50 for the whole series I would be willing to risk it.
If anyone is looking for all the episodes...every single one...I recently taped the entire series off of the Sci-Fi channel...They are done on the four hour setting on the tapes (22 videos). If you just send me the blank tapes and pay for postage both ways, I'll copy them for free.
When I first started taping them, I took the commercials out, but I just have the time to dedicate to it. So, yes they have commercials. I'm just glad I have them to watch anytime I want. I can't imagine charging anyone that just wants to have their favorite series on tape. Maybe someday we'll be able to go to our local store and buy them on DVD. If they have Sanford & Son on DVD...I guess Knight Rider isn't much of a stretch.
Used to be that DVD burners were really up there in price.
But, recently, I've seen stand alone units going for under $500. And, blank DVD packages are starting to appear more commonly on store shelves. Plus, that auction's photo shows what a good paint/printer package can perform.
I'm with Neil on this one. If the whole series was $50, I'd probably go for it. After all, my 10+ year set of KR tapes were poor quality to begin with and they are showing their age. These DVD's are almost shoe in's to be in better shape. But, not for $200.
Wern't the KR episodes on the Sci-Fi channel affected with the worst time condensing editing of the lot?

I regeted I haven't taped it when our TV station played it~
I actaully have this very same set, covers and all! I bought these DVD's from another member on this forum for $400, so I have a good idea of who they are coming from. The quality is rather iffy. And season one is almost unwatchable.
I posted the same auction in the "Columbia House" DVD's for Knight Rider, though this is a newer listing. You should ask what the quality is for each episode. And one thing this set has going for it: UNCUT
