Goliath Returns
In the last few minutes of "Goliath Returns", I have noticed KITT was in the path of Goliath, but when the grappling hook was activated and hung to a rock, KITT was a few inches clear of Goliath. How did this happen?
Besides, why does KITT have such colourful, decorative opinions of Goliath, but call KARR just a "problem-ridden prototype" and nothing more?

For the first part of the comment about KITT being clear of Goliath, in fact, Adrienne did try to wrestle the steering wheel from Garthe, knocking them off course. So, yeah, that can be answered.
As for KITT having less choice words to say about KARR than Goliath:
1) KARR never disabled KITT. KARR was an annoyance that wouldn't go away, so KITT didn't necessarily have as much of a reaction in that form to KARR as he did Goliath.
2) As Mike said, KITT did have a few choice words for KARR, they just weren't as intense.
3) KARR was more like an echo of KITT. So if KITT said too many bad things about KARR, then he might have to re-evaluate himself.
4) The difference between a huge steel re-inforced semi with no counter programming, driven by a mad man versus a Trans-Am that can be defeated by its own programming? Priceless.

Not to mention the fact that KARR was beneath KITTs comtempt as simply bad programming, whilst Goliath was big, imposing, and needed belittling, probably as reassurance for KITT.
And because it makes kool tv... or they used different scriptwriters... or because Goliath was big enough to take insults whereas Karr was quite small and lacked direction in life and couldn't help the way he was...

what and goliath can I don't think so now Garth on the other hand could change his ways but utile that happens goliath is with what he does. pluss I don't think he meant it to the truck I think he was calling Garth that but have the main programme that he has he could not say them directly to garth.

Goliath
haha Kitt has alot of "colorful" and "decorative" words to say for Goliath and just calls KARR a "problem ridden prototype" probably because KARR didn't smash Kitt in the face (front) and leave him on his side in the scorching desert!

Yes, because when K.I.T.T activated the grappling hook and hung to a rock, he went a bit ahead in his inertia. I don't think there is any flaw in this scene.
I think K.I.T.T had so colourful opinions about Goliath and not about K.A.R.R because he seemed to have feared Goliath more than K.A.R.R as it had once hit him in Goliath and he had been almost completely destroyed and so he likes to describe Goliath more descriptively than K.A.R.R.

i always thought it was badly editied when i was able to watch it back and dissect it.
i thought KITT was meant to shoot out the grappling hook #first#, have it caught on a rock, and then #after that# at the last moment skid offside and stop atop the cliff, just before goliath came past him, adrienne simply trying to save her own life.
if you look at it, adrienne isn't able to sway goliath's heading and so it never made sense to me that they showed KITT skidding offside so much in advance of him releasing the grapplng hook et all... it just made no sense that garth wouldn't use all that time to change course.
