That's crazy about his wife being named Bonnie. Catherine Hickland who played Stevie married a man named Michael Knight after divorcing David.

Stumbled upon an episode of "Touched by an Angel" at Youtube, episode called "Birthmarks" from 1996. It had William Daniels as a guest star, character named "Whit", which almost sounds like "KITT" and surprise surprise, there was also character called "Michael". It was funny to listen William Daniels's character talking to "Michael" again, who was his son in that episode.

I wonder if the makers of that TV series had Knight Rider in mind by naming the character and having KITT's voice, William Daniels as a guest star in that episode
