I was really intrigued about Adobe demoing their new voice-editing software recently, as detailed at http://arstechnica.com/information-tech ... h-editing/
Particularly, my mind jumped immediately into thinking "Hey, this could be a way to preserve and carry on William Daniels' voice as KITT long into the future!" Or it could be used to emulate the late Edward Mulhare as Devon. Or any other actor from the show that is either no longer with us or is unavailable/unable to participate in anything new as far as a series or movie would be concerned.
On a side note, this software is also basically like KITT's ability to impersonate any voice in the show. Honestly, I'm surprised at how long it has taken for a company to come up with technology like this that is this easy to use. My guess is that software like this has been around for a very long time but the public just hasn't known about it.
But how cool would it be to feed this software 20 minutes of samples of William Daniels' voice from Knight Rider and then have it be able to perfectly recreate it to say anything you want? I definitely see where this could be scary technology if it were abused for the wrong purposes, but for perfectly innocent uses it could be a boon for many things.

I've been trying to recreate KITT's voice for a while now without any real success, but this certianly made my eyes light up. As an avid user of Adobe's products, I will be more than happy to pay for this if it gets the job done.
