I was watching Time Traveling Bong part 3 and I noticed a very old computer mainframe was being used for an alternate timeline in the future scene.
Nice to know they stood the test of time.

These computer props have been around for a while. I remember them on Airplane 2, a star trek film with William Shatner. Could it be possible they have been used prior to knight rider? This old prop is over 34 years old. to last that long is amazing to me.

Hollywood is really big on making stage props that can be recycled. After all, making shows/movies have such a high price on unbelievable things, to begin with. Why add to it when a set piece made on someone else's dollar can do just as well.
Was it Star Wars or Star Trek that had a shuttle craft lined with a whole bank of KITT's tweeters???
