Didn't even realize that it was that time of the year, again.
Hope Mike's yearly feed is up and running, as I won't be attending. Nor do I have any plans for future shows, either.
It's not the fact that it's no longer just a drive up the 15. Nor the fact that Vegas is white hot, this time of the year. Just that 'Car Stars' kind of left a bad taste that had me swearing not to repeat the experience. When it was the KR specialized event, it was our con. But, Car Stars felt more like a Las Vegas style of some old car show. More glitz and glammer with classic cars 'of Hollywood'...and special guest star, KR. It just didn't jive right with me. So, no. Especially now that the trip would take a whole lot longer.
i agree jup. i said that last year that k.r. is kind of like the unwanted step child off in the corner, but people jumped on me saying know it wasn't. it was front and center, which to me being on the side of the building isn't that position. meanwhile a guy that played lurch in 2 movies was front and center. this is my last year going, and i'm only going so my dad can have a bond character sign his 50th year bond anniversary magazine. it's not worth the drive in to me anymore when i just go to look at kitt, which i've seen for the last i guess 3 or 4 years now. i don't know half the people that are going to be there today, and the ones that are there from knight rider, i got all their autographs (FOR FREE) the first year knight rider festival was held.
