That's very good but Karr's grey paint job started from the tip of his nosepeice on the bumper as shown in the picture:
What i've noticed in a lot of kr mods for gta games/need for speed games,etc. is that they keep thinking just the hald of karr's body downwarrd was grey but they didn't get that wheel wells had the grey around them too:
Although after karr's demise we see this:
suddenly the grey paintjob is gone from the front bumper.Probably parts of the kitt cars that were too badly damaged years back.

A "Knight Rider explanation" could be that the fire melted the silver paint from the nose as John had only "ordinary" paint available

Knight Racer i knew karr paintjob on the bumper , but just i wrong on it , anyways i modify it a gain with two light into bumper , etc ...
in the final battle kitt vs karr , i thinks larson put just the bumper and many other pice , is not kitt or karr explode heheheh
