Meet...Goliath!
For the past 8 months or so I have had the very talented model maker, Tony Westwood construct a model of Goliath for me. It's been a long, pain staking process but Goliath was finally completed today.
Here are some photos of the model. Notice the tremendous detail:
http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b361/ ... 2email.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b361/ ... 6email.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b361/ ... 5email.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b361/ ... 3email.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b361/ ... 0email.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Tony also made a model of Goliath that looked exactly the same as the one above, both in scale and look, for Knightcon 2010 in West Yorkshire, England, and since he has now made me one there are now only two of these in existence.
The only bad thing is that I won't be able to have it for around another month until I get the rest of the funds to pay for it, but at least that now gives me time to sort out ample room for this beauty!
Enjoy!

Thanks. I won't say what I actually paid, but let's just say well over £300. But it has to be delivered to me, too, so some of the price is going toward delivery. Tony spent countless of hours dedicating himself to creating this, as many as 12 hours a day, so he's definetely earnt every penny!msKEN wrote:Amazing piece, if you don't mind me asking, how much is this setting you back?

Re: Meet...Goliath!
Knightprowl, me and Tony have talked about a potential flag truck being created as well as a spm kitt but these won't be for a while considering the price of these things lol.
Bigguy, I've asked Tony to measure it for me since I suspect that the shelf that I had planned for it to go on may not fit. I'll let everyone know when he gets back to me.
Cheers for the compliments, guys, it's a beast!

Re: Meet...Goliath!
Sorry, BIGGUY, but that photo was taken from the designer's home, not mine, so I cannot show you anymore pictures of that.
