Strange KITT nose ("Knight strike", SE03EP21)

I was watching "Knight strike", and I noticed that in the scene before KITT enters the compound, it has a really strange nose. It's like a barely modified standard nose. Pictures below:


I think it may be just a stunt car. What do you think?

The same nose is on some scenes in Knight of The Drones and The Ice Bandits form 3 season.

Yes this is modifed stock nose to look like KITT nose with scanner in one of the stunt cars.

BTW, weren't the first season stunt cars more similar to KITT?

yes just like on season 4 episode many happy returns right when kitt took a direct hit from the hovercrafts rockets.

Hey guys, that car should be the car built or modified for Speed Demons with rear suspensions jacked up but with a standard Kitt nose. We see a very similar car in Kitt VS Karr when car is rescued on the beach and towed by the pickup, still spotting the "copyrighted" Kitt nose. When the season 3 goes on we see likely this same car with the funky nose you described many times. Then in season 4 we meet this car again in Many happy returns and in Hills on fire when the 4 door bad pickup flips over, cleart side shot of Kitt witha lift up rear.

I will look later for Season 4 but can not remember to see that nose there !!! By the Way, this TA KITT was used after Knight of the Drones in the Epsiode "The Ice Bandits" and was modifed later that the scanner fits in there bedder. Here is a closer pic:
