I was under the impression that NBC owns the TV rights to Knight Rider and Glen Larson owns the movie rights.

NBC/Universal does in fact own the TV rights to Knight Rider, in any incarnation, and regardless of how poorly they think it did, there is no way NBC ever loses what could be a cash cow in 5 years

That was the impression that I was under aswell. I'm hoping that Ford doesn't lose that thinking either.

I wouldn't be surprised if it re-appeared as a Kids cartoon or something similar....

I hope sometime in the future another station picks- up the Knight Rider 08 and continues where it left off and makes it better then the NBC version, If jay leno show never happened then I think NBC probally would of maybe renewed Knight Rider for a second season, but, since NBC has so many new shows starting next week and plus with the Jay Leno show at 10:00pm there is not that much of a time space left so for other shows they have from 8 pm to 10:00, but last season they had from 8:00pm to 11:00pm so NBC kind of lost an hour

I love NCIS! I'm anxious to see if NCIS:LA can capture the same chemistry as the original crew has. DiNozzo and Ziva are my faves.
