I got bored with the usual chessy generic ringtones or the music tones. So I designed my own CUSTOM ringtone composing of 3 parts spliced together. First: The ringing of an 70's/80's office phone (Think Rockford Files as that's where this idea came from). Then add a "Click" of a REAL tape recorder starting and add the REAL Knight Rider theme (without words)
and you get this...... ENJOY!

I can also create ANY song, spoken word what ever AFTER the ringing and click sound.

FAQ's

Q: Why does the audio stop but the track keeps playing?

A: I added a blank bit of track to the file to ensure the ringtone would not loop in case the user has a longer time than 28 seconds (actual time of ringtone) it totals 31 seconds.

Q: What is the entire ringtone based off of?

A: I created the tone after seeing an episode of the Rockford Files intro. I liked the ringing phone and "classic" answering machine sounds that I created my own using authentic sounds and music. Short answer it's suspected to be a ringing phone and answering machine outgoing message.

Q: How much of the "added" (in this case the Knight Rider theme) is played?

A: The ringing phone and click totals 6 seconds. The reminder from 6 to 28 seconds is the Theme.

Q: What is the title of the ringtone mean?

A: I usually title the tone after the track or tracks then any changes I make. In this case the track KR = Knight Rider _ is a spacing RNG & CL= Classic phone HLP= is the changes I made to ensure a authentic sounding ringtone. I added a High Pass filter to the ringing phone at the start and left the Knight Rider theme as normal. The "High Pass" allows to enhance the higher sounds and lower the low sounds in a selection.

To add the ringtone is amplified to the maximum volume levels allowed but not so loud that the ringtone "clips". So it should clear.

The intro (ringing phone) can also be made into ANY other ringtone or sound of choice (with in reason) I can decide NOT to use a sound if I so choose.

Also if you PM me and want a custom tone made NOTE that because the tone is FREE that it will be a minium of 3 DAYS to get the tone back to you. Allow ONE tone per person.

Also for those that wondered. The ringtone was composed with Audacity on the millisecond level so the human ear can't tell any splicing was done.
