i was 12 and it was 1983 or was it84?? and if i remember the first epsiode was a nice indecent little town that i saw??????? it used to have a prime time slot of 1930 on itv in sunny old england and the whole family used to watch it

I just became a fan late last year. I am 16.
Actually My mom tried to show me the show before. Because i LOVE trans ams, she showed me kitt, whih it didnt trigger that it was a trans am. Then we saw a model in Universal Studios, which i walked around pondering if i should get it for 10 mins, only because it was a T/A. I put it back, unfortunatly, not knowing that I would love the show!

But yeah. That's my story ^_^

I was born two years after the show ended, my mom loved it though. When I was little i always blew it off, at around 12 or so, i noticed how cool it was.

I remember watching it with my dad and brother during the original airing. Since I was born in 81, that puts it anywhere from 1 to 5 years old for me, depending on how you count the years. I don't remember my exact age when I first began watching.

Well I was going on 1 when the show originally started. But I remember watching it when I was around 4-5. I believe I caught it when the local station KUTP 45 started airing reruns in the mid 80s. I've been hooked every since.

started watching it back when I was about 4 or so back in '92. parents went on vacation and I stayed with my uncle for about a week during that time. and pretty much the whole time I was there I watched TV with him. and fortunately he watched Knight Rider quite often. never really knew much at the time and my interest just faded till about a month ago when I actually found out it was being aired on the Sc-Fi channel. now im a big fan.

I had just been born when the series started, but I can remember watching it in the latter half of its run during Seasons 3 and 4. I really got into it once it went into syndication. Now I've gotten my 15 year old brother started watching it.

Still remember it my brother who was 12 at the time said"Come and see this,at first I wasn't to keen but I am glad I did cus I have been hooked ever since.

Mike,

By reading your profile on the side of your post, it says your 33. But your post says you started watching KR at 1 years old and then maybe 4 or 5. That would put the show on in the early 70's? I'm just confused if your side profile is wrong?

I never had too much of a vivid memory of when I was a child. However, I was between 4 and 7 when the show aired, so I kinda fall in the middle of the line. When did the talking KITT come out? Perhaps that would set more of a date, by the toys I recieved.

I was 8 when I first started watching KR. Somehow I became fascinated watching all the commercials being aired about this car and just HAD to watch KOTP...that was it, as soon as KITT started talking I was hooked. Especially when Michael fell asleep at the wheel!! Those cops pulling him over...I still laugh at that. COULD YOU SPEAK A LITTLE LOUDER...AND INTO THIS EAR...HERE?

i was 10 when the pilot 1st aired ......i watched it then.,..and was instantly hooked. Only problem was, it came on opposite Dallas, my parents favorite show..so most of the time i had to watch KR on a tiny little B&W tv that was fuzzy most of the time....damn that JR Ewing!!
