Duh... You didn't have to open up a new thread. There is already an ongoing thread about the 1/64 KITT here >>>> viewtopic.php?f=1044&t=12737&p=173167#p173167

Its still a topic about the 1/64 KITT... Maybe you shd have opened it up and read the thread.. Plenty of discussion in there about the Shelby Collectibles 1/64 KITT you are referring to here. You cld have just posted a reply there with the link rather than open up a new thread. sheesh

IF the mods care they'll move it, so leave it alone.

Thanks. I am glad this was posted. I went to the site and ordered 2 just a few min ago. KI3T and KARR. May order a 3rd later and try to recreate Attack Mode. My wife is getting me th 1:18 scale KI2T and KI3T for my birthday.

BTW has anyone attempted recreating Attack Mode in 1/64 or 1:18 scale? :spmgo:

Anytime dude, I made this so people can go buy it and this won't get lost in the other topic. Plus if anyone who buys this knows people who like the other shelby collectibles listed they could buy those. Russ will order another case if the KR's sell well probably. Supply and demand, he will supply the demand. :good:

I also had an idea or an attack mode version. I think the 08 Super Snake would be a great base model. It already has the added side vent flares. And the covers over the back side windows. All that would need to be modified would be the hood scoops, wheels and rear spoiler...and slight touch on tail lights and you have a good attack mode.

Hey, this could be the start of something! Not even official KR merchandise but it could sell phenomenally well, and if that gets back to NBC (if they bring the series back that is) it could open their eyes to licensing!

I have 2 JADA 1/64 GT 500KR's one is black like KI3T and the other is blue with white stripes. The blue one had the GT 500KR stock wheels while the black one had more souped up ones. I switched the chassis to make KI3T look more authentic. But I think I may use the blue one as a prototype to try and recreate attack mode before I attempt to modify a Shelby Collectibles. Shouldn't be to hard to convert. Once I'm done I'll try to post some pics.

I don't know if the 1:64 jada's axles are changeable, I know the larger cars' are. Actually the wheels on the larger cars are exchangable. Bandit can you show us some pics? The blue one is not pictured on their site but they do have a white with blue stripes KR pictured. From the pics both cars have the same wheels.

Oh the next gen thing, I have both the red and the blue KR's from that series and those are not the stock KR wheels by the way. I have the Blue ZR1 too and the black 2010 Mustang, by the time I got to the palette thing some dickhead took the only white 2010 mustang but left every other car. I first found these at walmart.

I would agree being that Blue is my favorite color. I'm not gonna change the wheels though the next gen's KR wheels are flimsy. As for the wheels being stock KR.....need I say more?

My bad on the wheels. I didn't notice they all had the same style wheels. I just figured they were the stock ones. Thanks for pointing it out.

On a side note my Shelby series 500KR's should be here today or tommorrow...I hope. And my wife is ordering my 1/18 scale for my birthday this afternoon. She says I've become obsessed with Knight Rider here lately.

Well I got my Shelby collection Gt 500KR's frome Mileone just a few minutes ago and immediatly noticed a major difference between the Jada model. The Shelby is a bit smaller. I took a pic with my cell phone but it's not that great but you get the idea.

Thats because the Jada models are exagerated models, not true scale ones.

But some of the jada models are very nice even if they are exaggerated. No problem on the wheels though, that's jada they mass produce some styles. Tell everyone about those GT500KR's and other shelbys from milezones, it's good stuff.
