How to people add kitts scanner on their car's pictures

I have seen many pictures but what i am wondering how to do that.I would like to try to add kitts scanner to a car

You need to make an animated GIF in a program like Adobe ImageReady or Corel's Animation Shop. Those programs aren't free, but you can use an open source photo editor called GIMP to also make animated GIF.

Yeah I guess I assumed he meant an animated scanner. If you just want a static scanner then ozikool is right. You can just use MS Paint. Probably the simplest way would be to just cut out an existing scanner and paste it on top of where you want it.

I remember a while back we had a member here that Photoshopped scanners on everybody's cars. I think his name was Darkslain...

i used gimp to put the scanner on a ford GTX1

i cut the image from an old KI2T photo and paste it on the GTX1
i have painted th gtx1 black.
i am doing the animated version using this techique

The scanner on my truck isn't painted on or anything, it's the real deal. My profile pic that is, if you look online you can find off brand scanners for trucks and cars, etc.
