msKEN and KnightDriver present: the Knight Industries Three Thousand, or still KITT for easy refreance. This will be one of the cars you can unlock for "free drive mode" in the game. KnightDriver and I are working to recreate his dash and nose mods from his 2002 Knight Rider pictures to a 3d reality so no, this is not a completed image, more of a teaser for the moment. The player controls the use of headlights by the way. I'm thinking of adding a turn signal feature but I'm not sure yet. More news to follow later.
Of course I will be adding a training level, kind of Davilex did for Knight Rider with the flag testing area, but I will be recreating Slammin' Sammy's Stunt Track for the testing-training area.
Thanks for all the comments guys, I wanted to start on Goliath.. does anyone know the exact make model and year that truck was so I can find the proper blue prints on it?
Wow. I would never have even thought of trying for the modern day Trans-Am as an extra vehicle.
As for Goliath's specs, I have no idea on what make the vehicle is. But, I'd be tempted just to recycle the FLAG semi's design into something that matches Goliath's missile launchers and look.
BTW: I think you are going to spoil the whole lot of us on driving games from this point forward.
Sorry I was just playing around, hahahahahaha this is obviously going to get thrown out, but I was playing around "TRYING" to make michael in 3D and this is what I came up with and I had to share it, LMAO.
I think the reason why Ken is a little dissatisfied with this Michael is because Michael absolutely looks ticked off, because the original pic has him squinting, and frowning. That is why he is going to work on it some more. (oh, wait, I need a frown, huh? )
Hey a goatee and a mustashe and he's ready to go. lol KI hit the nail on the head, the picture I used had to be a dead on shot showing both of michaels ears, then a good side shot of michael. Unfourtinitly if you ever watch David, he very rarely has a "normal" facial expression, I was cracking up just trying to get screen captures of the guy. lol By the way I'm being laughed off the new groups for posting this picture. "Why the hell would you use award wininng $4,000 software to make a 3d model out of the Knight Rider... are you mad?" lol
I don't know. Things have been said, emotions hurt, legal issues have been pushed and the community continues to be torn by all of it over the last month. This game may now be vaporware.
msKEN is a lone wolf programmer with access to some powerful and expensive software, trying to create a long term gaming idea that he wanted to share with the KR community for free. But, things have turned sour for him...and others, recently.
