I know a llot of people will probably raise hell over this but having family in the military and in the police gives you and understanding that people that oppose this at any cost cannot and will not ever comprehend...
From the moment they arrive at the plant, Mike has a grim face on and becomes very "matter of fact" and doesn't crack even a grin. He shoots several bad guys, jaw set each time, eyes focused and intense. The dialogue before he enters the building:PHOENIXZERO wrote:On the other hand, I really don't have too much of a problem with Mike shooting/killing the bad guys (better him than KITT) though he shouldn't have seemed so upbeat about it.
Well I do not mind a small dose of reality when it comes to this issue.PHOENIXZERO wrote:Again with the digs at those who disagree with you as if those of us that are against the hero(es) killing as if we're ignorant fools because you assume none of us have any connection to the military or law enforcement, so we for some reason can't comprehend it, trust me we all do. There's a big difference between reality and fantasy where the writers are in control of what happens and how things play out and real life where one doesn't have that luxury and has to make split second, life or death choices.
I watched it again myself. It is VERY hard to tell. I have noticed in the course of watching K.I.T.T.'s scanner, that under certain conditions, it takes on a bit of an orange or yellow tint. It could be that both of those cars are K.I.T.T. I mean, why even show KARR in car form if they've already told us he's going to be in robot form. I would think that if they were going to have him be in car form, leave it a surprise that he can go into robot form (yes, I know they've already shown us the blue prints of him transforming), it would just build up some suspense that way.Mathyus wrote:Now that I have watched it on YouTube, I think that was KARR you were talking about.kittxthexcat wrote:Blarg, I should specify. I mean the car shown after they show Kitt, the car that goes into a mini fish tail. I'm sure the first car they show is Karr though. And I can't see the license plate, video est small -pout- Gah, is it Wednesday yet!? lol
I don't know...I think it's more like Billy told Kitt what happened, and Kitt repeated it to Mike. So it's possible that Billy spoke to soon. Or Graimen wanted it to look like he died? I dun know. -shrug- Where's that stupid vitals check thing Ki2t had! lol.BlueChaos wrote:I think if Charles is not really dead, KITT would have known it and would have told Sarah so.

I could sort of see the little hamster spinning on his wheel in Zoe's head.. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)LisaRosa wrote:I absolutely loved this episode, even though Graiman had to die. Kitt's comebacks were great and his words to Sarah had me in tears: "Sarah, our father is dead."Until that moment, it never occured to me that Kitt thought of Charles as his father and thinks of Sarah as his sister. His family... oh no, tears again...
If you look close it seems to me that even Kitt's scanner lights were going a little slower, showing his grief as well. I'm glad it was Mike and Kitt that told her. It made the scene that more poignant.
My favorite lines:
Kitt to Mike in the chemical plant: "Subtle" as Mike goes into the bomb room.
After Sarah asked Kitt what he meant by the landing gear being non-operational: "To put it technical terms, It's gone."
One thing I noticed is how Carrie's father emphasised his disillutionment with the government. You could almost see the wheels of thought turning in Zoe's head as she heard this.
It's too bad they had to blow up Hank too. I was really beginning to like him. Did anyone notice the high five he gave Sarah?
I loved the teaser for next week too. So far, the reboot is turning out the way I was hoping.
I think it's far simpler than that: Alex Torres arranged Charles Graiman's death.tamatt27 wrote:I do wonder if KARR is, somehow, responsible for that light and the explosion. It would seem fitting that Charles would die flying the plane to KARR, to try and stop him or something.
