The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

well, my husband and I have been thinking about it, and I am not opposed to the idea of Snr coming back. especially since Traceur needs a "mentor". Plus you add to that the fact that he still carries resentment for Snr abandoning him and his mom in the pilot, there are the possibilities for great father/son story lines.

I would greatly be in favor of the Hoff returning as a main character. I think the Hoff knows that this could be his last chance with Knight Rider, not to mention he probably has some unfinished business with how Season 4 ended. I think if NBC wants this show to be successful they need to give David what he wants and give him a chance to let him run with it (the series). Honestly, I think David has a better chance being in the series then William Daniels does though. Would love to have both but I much rather have one of them instead of none of them.

Knight Rider: David Hasselhoff and Original KITT May Be in New Series
Knight RiderFilming is currently underway for NBC’s new Knight Rider series. Though the two-hour pilot movie performed well in the ratings last February, many viewers expressed their doubts about NBC’s plans to make it an ongoing series. Executive producer Gary Scott Thompson (Las Vegas) has since joined the project, took those comments to heart, and has promised big changes. He’s essentially told viewers to “forget the movie.”
One part of the film that fans won’t forget is the appearance by the hero of the original Knight Rider series, Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff). Plans are currently underway to bring Michael back to the series — and he might bring a certain four-wheeled friend with him.
Thompson recently told Sci Fi Wire that plans for another Hasselhoff appearance are in the works. He said, “[David] is talking to NBC next week, and we are working out everyone’s schedule… I don’t want to put him in just for the sake of having him drop by; I want there to be a good reason for him being there and have it be part of the story. I talked to David about a way of doing that, and so far he likes it. It’s a cool idea.”
Should Hasselhoff appear in the new series?
Yes! Often!
Sure. Occasionally.
Nah. It's a new series.

The executive producer also shared that he has a dream scenario in mind — Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening) and the new K.I.T.T. (voiced by Val Kilmer) teaming up with Michael Knight (Hasselhoff) and the original KITT (voiced by William Daniels). Whether this on-screen partnership will happen will happen or not will all come down to timing, Thompson says.
It still remains to be seen how long the new Knight Rider series will last. Unlike the pilot movie, there hasn’t been much buzz about the new series. That may actually be a blessing considering how it became nearly impossible for last year’s over-hyped Bionic Woman to live up to expectations. Will the new series about a man and his high-tech machine continue for many years to come or, quickly run out of gas? Stay tuned! TV Series Finale home page

Well, I really do hope this happens. I think that's a GREAT idea. This show needs some desperate saving, and I think if they bought back DH, (and KITT) then the ratings will go UP.

Re: Is this closer to a Hoff return confirmation?
With the episode order being cut back to 17 and their apparently done with episode 16, there's pretty much no chance of that happening.
EDIT: I should say, no chance unless the show makes it to a second season.
