Does anybody agree? We had this big story in the pilot episode, and it's been practically forgotten.
From what we all know, the blueprints to KITT's schematics were retrieved...possibly returned, but I didn't quite catch what all happened after the car wreck. Now, we have an insider who almost successfully escaped the SSC...did she have the neural net shell, or does someone else still have it now? My big question is, is (the neural net) capable of taking project Prometheus into direction?
I'll bet they will get back to the story that introduced us all to Knight Rider 2008, and this is going to be the tie.

I thought Project Prometheus was some kind of satellite surveillance system for the military in the pilot....

Makes sense to me. We know that Welther believed KI3T's AI to be a key to Prometheus. Considering Prometheus gives the user the ability to control weapons of mass destruction, I would not be surprised if an AI was needed to control it. Potentially having KARR be the AI behind such a terrifying power would make a great storyline indeed.
